FAQs

We already use ChatGPT, even the Business plan. How is this different?

Keep ChatGPT. Many businesses run both. You ask, it answers, the session ends. The difference shows up when nobody types. Nothing in a chat workspace runs on its own. This does: standing reports against your live books, the Monday reconciliation on schedule, the daily list of what slips. Your rules live in one place instead of scattered across chats. Chat is for asking. This is for running.

Isn't this one of those AI app builders?

No. An app builder hands you an app. You bring the spec, you do the prompting, you keep it alive. Between builds it does nothing. This is staff. It runs against your live books every day, keeps your rules, and flags what slips. Building a report is one thing it does when you ask.

Can it mess up my books or my systems?

Not by default, and not because it is careful. It reads your systems. It cannot write to them. The limit sits in the platform code, so it cannot change your QuickBooks or move your data. Want it to act? You turn that on. Nothing goes live without your yes, and every action lands in a log you can read.

How does it actually work?

Where does my data live?

Does the AI learn from my business's data?

It learns for you, not from you for anyone else. Your data never trains an AI model and never crosses to another customer. The AI runs on your own provider account, so we never see what you ask. Run it on your own hardware and nothing leaves the building.

Which AI is under the hood?

Yours. It runs on your own account with the provider you pick. We never pay for, meter, or see your usage. That means a small usage bill from that provider on top of what you pay us. We show you the range during setup. Switch providers later and your reports, data, and rules stay put.

Do I need anyone technical?

No. We run it. Your team asks questions and approves what it proposes. There is a self-hosted option if you have IT staff or rules about where your data sits.

Do we really need this much software?
